About our Trainers
Katie Cobia
Katie is a upper level event rider with olympic goals. She specializes in starting young horses and bring them up the levels in the sport they are good at, wether it be eventing, hunters, jumpers, or dressage. However her passion has always been eventing. She has been riding before she could walk. Katie grew up in a very horse savvy family, her mom and her three older bothers have all been involve in the equestrian world from a young age. Katie grew up in the United States Pony Club and is a current B member. Katie has competed from coast to coast and trained all over the country. Living in every horse dense areas including West Chester, Pennsylvania and Ocala, Florida. While she was there she was trained by the best people in the world in the sport of eventing. Katie returned to her home state of Utah to start her own equestrian business and to attend collage. Studying business at Utah State and Weber State University. Katie has built up a successful business from the ground up with the help of her amazing family and working students. Katie teaches riders and horses of all ages and disciplines and abilities. She believes that horsemanship and the care of the horse comes first, teaching her students how to succeed in both taking care of the horses and themselves. Katie teaches in a very positive and happy way making students believe in themselves and become confident individuals.
Colleen Cobia
Colleen is one of our instructors. She is mother to Katie and she helped get her to where she is today. Colleen has an excellent eye. She can get you to where you want to be in your training. Colleen has year and years of experience from queening to barrel racing, from owning racehorse to having eventing, and dressage horses. Colleen specializes in teaching dressage lessons and helping you and your horse look your best.
Working Students

Kyra McEvoy
Kyra has been a working student here for about 2 years. She started as a lesson student with a lesson horse, brand new to eventing. Since then she's purchased her own horse and they have started their eventing career together. She is now a young rider for area lX, her and her horse are currently competing at the training level. She has became very reliable horsewomen and great rider. She is now an instructor for us and teaching several beginner lesson and has been a very good instructor.
Molly Jensen
Molly has been riding with us for just over a year. She has recently become a working student. Molly was gifted an amazing Connemara pony for Christmas. She and her little horse have been becoming an amazing team. Molly has came up through the levels of eventing quite quickly. She is currently competing at the training level. Molly is an area lX young rider with big goals in eventing. She is starting to teach some of our younger beginner students and is proving to be very fun and a very good instructor.
